The design of Project Bravo is pioneering; it installs Earth Mount Solar panels flat, directly on the ground, thereby eliminating the need for traditional steel mounting structures and single-axis trackers. This unique approach not only streamlines construction timelines, reducing standard build times by nearly fifty percent, but also enhances the project’s durability against extreme weather common to the hurricane-prone Gulf Coast.

With key milestones achieved in areas such as site control, interconnection, permitting, and financing, Project Bravo boasts the delivery of 124 GWh of annual energy under a 20-year Private Use Network (PUN) power purchase agreement with Equistar Chemicals, LP, a subsidiary of LyondellBasell. This agreement highlights the project’s potential as a reliable, replicable model for industrial solar solutions.

Katie Mehnert, co-founder of Houston Energy & Climate Week, echoed Tyler’s sentiments, emphasizing that the week's activities aim to shift the energy discourse from theoretical discussions to tangible field experiences.
