Phrozen Launches the Cutting-Edge ARCO FDM 3D Printer on July 9, 2025

Phrozen Unveils ARCO: A Revolutionary FDM 3D Printer

On July 9, 2025, Phrozen Japan Inc., headquartered in Toshima, Tokyo, will launch its first FDM 3D printer, aptly named the ARCO. Led by CEO Ray Wu and General Manager Kazuyuki Sato, this innovative machine is tailored for a diverse range of users, from professional creators to hobbyists. It promises to deliver a next-generation FDM printing experience with remarkable speed and precision.

Exceptional Speed and Quality

One of the standout features of the ARCO is its unprecedented printing speed, which is among the fastest in its class. With a maximum head acceleration of 40,000 mm/s² and head speeds reaching 1,000 mm/s, the ARCO combines speed with high-quality output. Its robust construction enhances stability, allowing it to maintain reliability during the intricate printing process.

At the heart of the ARCO is the unique GraviCoreXY™ structure, inspired by Voron 2.4. This design features four reinforced aluminum pillars, a four-layer heated build plate, and a metal flying gantry, all working together to minimize vibrations and ensure a smooth printing experience, even at high speeds.

Impressive Build Size and Performance

The ARCO supports a sizable build area of 300×300×300 mm, along with top-notch high-speed capabilities. The combination of GraviCoreXY™ and patent-pending Direct Extrusion Path (DEP) technology allows the printer to handle flexible and industrial filaments without clogging or inconsistent feeding. This optimizes performance and ensures reliable results across various materials, including PLA, ABS, and TPU, with nozzles capable of reaching maximum temperatures of 300°C.

Users can choose from a standard nozzle, a wear-resistant GammaMaster® nozzle developed in collaboration with Slice Engineering, or a high-flow CHT® nozzle from Bondtech.

Innovative Multi-Color Printing Capabilities

For those interested in vibrant multi-color prints, the ARCO comes with an optional Chroma Kit featuring four spool holders and filament supply tubes situated close to the extruder, significantly reducing color change time. Additionally, the Penta Shield helps maintain an optimal printing temperature within the chamber while minimizing odors, providing a quiet and clean working environment.

An Integrated Ecosystem for Optimal Workflow

ARCO is equipped with Klipper firmware, seamlessly integrating with Phrozen's proprietary PIXUP FDM slicer to create an optimized 3D printing workflow. It is also compatible with open-source software like Orca Slicer, providing users with flexibility in their printing operations. For those in need of inspiration, Phrozen offers the PIXUP platform, featuring a curated collection of high-quality models.

Phrozen is committed to the democratization of 3D printing, offering products that allow anyone to easily achieve high-quality prints at reasonable prices, gaining rapid acceptance across various sectors from professionals to individuals. Ray Wu, CEO and co-founder of Phrozen, stated, "The launch of ARCO strengthens our product portfolio, providing creators with a versatile solution needed to bring their ideas to life within a complete ecosystem."

Price and Availability

The ARCO's base model will be available for a retail price of ¥155,000 (including tax). Sales and shipping are set to begin on July 9, 2025.

Exhibition and Showcase

Phrozen will showcase the ARCO at the Monozukuri World Tokyo / Next-Generation 3D Printer Exhibition from July 9 to 11, 2025, at Makuhari Messe Hall 7, Booth No. 46-6.
