The highly anticipated wine event is making its return to Osaka. Pieroth Japan, a renowned wine import company based in Tokyo, is hosting the Pieth The Experience Osaka 2025 from May 30 to June 2 at the Westin Osaka. This annual event invites wine producers from across the globe, showcasing over 100 varieties of wine for attendees to taste.

Since 2016, Pieroth Japan has organized this premier tasting event annually, specifically crafted for wine enthusiasts, and it’s recognized as one of the largest in Japan. Last year, around 10,000 attendees participated across venues in Tokyo and Osaka, enjoying tastings and engaging with the visiting producers.

The event will take place in the Westin Osaka, offering a delightful tasting experience in the charming Karin Room, which faces a serene garden and is bathed in natural light. This spacious venue allows guests to leisurely explore the captivating world of wine.

One of the highlights of the event is the direct interaction with wine producers. It can be challenging to visit wineries around the world, so this event serves as a unique opportunity for wine fans to meet and engage with the producers directly. This year, 30 wineries will showcase over 100 different wines, including selections from regions like France, Italy, Germany, Slovenia, the USA, Australia, Chile, and Argentina, allowing guests to embark on an extensive wine journey. Booths will be organized by region and taste, making it easy to find a preferred wine.

The event kicks off with a gala dinner on May 30, where attendees can enjoy a special dinner of gourmet courses paired with producers' renowned wines. A rare wine auction will also take place during this evening. The tasting sessions will run from May 31 to June 2, opening from 11 AM to 8 PM, with 90-minute slots available. This is a unique chance to taste wines while conversing directly with the producers.

Tasting Session Entry Times

Tasting session entry will be by reservation only at the following times:
1. 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM
2. 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM
3. 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM
4. 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM
5. 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM
6. 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

This event is highly recommended not just for wine professionals and enthusiasts but also for novices looking to explore the world of wine. Renowned culinary researcher Shizuo Tsuji, who popularized French cuisine in Osaka, once said, “Knowing which wine pairs with a dish, whether it should be red or white, is largely a matter of individual preference; however, the only way to truly learn is through experience.” The Pieth The Experience 2025 provides a valuable opportunity to taste many wines at once and discover personal favorites.
