Countdown to Furniture China and Maison Shanghai 2026
As the clock ticks down to the long-awaited return of the Furniture China and Maison Shanghai 2026 exhibitions, excitement is building in the industry. Organized by CNFA and IM Sinoexpo, these major events will take place in the vibrant city of Shanghai, welcoming suppliers, manufacturers, designers, and business professionals from various sectors ahead of their opening in early September.
With less than two weeks to go, both exhibitions are set to draw an impressive lineup of over
3,200 exhibiting brands across a sprawling
350,000 square meters of exhibition space. This year, the
Furniture China event will be hosted from
September 8 to 11 at the
Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), focusing on manufacturing, trade, and supply chain aspects within the furniture sector. Concurrently,
Maison Shanghai will take place at the
Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center (SWEECC) from
September 7 to 10, emphasizing home décor, design, and lifestyle innovations.
A Complete Journey for Buyers
The synergy between these two exhibitions offers buyers a comprehensive experience, from sourcing and product comparison to design inspiration and market analysis. Notably, the Furniture China event is restructuring its exhibition halls by product categories to provide more targeted sourcing opportunities for its attendees. Here’s a brief overview of what visitors can expect:
- - E4 Outdoor Furniture: Showcasing outdoor solutions for gardens, resorts, and leisure activities.
- - N2 Dining Plus: Featuring dining furniture arranged through thematic scenarios to inspire buyers.
- - E5 Commercial Furniture: Catering to office applications, public markets, hospitality, and project needs.
Additionally,
FMC China expands its offerings, including materials, components, fabrics, hardware, wood, and intelligent manufacturing, with participating brands from
25 countries and regions, featuring pavilions from France, Singapore, Turkey, and Malaysia.
Maison Shanghai complements this spectrum with four thematic halls plus a design networking program, connecting aesthetics and decoration with contemporary design trends and future innovations. Together, these events allow hospitality professionals, designers, and project managers to explore commercial and creative opportunities in a streamlined visit to Shanghai.
Enhancing the Experience for International Buyers
The experience for international attendees has been significantly enhanced as well. The space dedicated to foreign buyers has moved to
