Notably, air conditioning usage significantly impacts household power consumption, accounting for approximately 38.3% of electricity used around 7 PM in the summer months, as reported by the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy.

Reflecting on these forecasted challenges, the government has announced financial support for electricity and gas pricing for usage from July through September 2025, easing the burden of increased energy costs. This support will coincide with the utility's campaign to further help customers save on their bills.

Campaign Overview

During the promotional period, any customer who applies for a new electricity rate plan through the official CD Energy website will receive 3,000 yen in Kateene Points, which can be used towards their electricity bill.
