Daito Trust Construction, headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, has made a significant move in the logistics sector by collaborating with Osaka Gas Urban Development to develop the first refrigerated and frozen storage facility in the Kansai region. This exciting project is set to take place in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture.
The backdrop of this development is the ongoing 2024 logistics problem, indicating a pressing demand for advanced logistics solutions, particularly in e-commerce and food distribution. As part of their commitment to responding to these needs, Daito Trust has actively begun planning logistics infrastructure development since the start of the 2024 fiscal year. They aim to establish a stable and efficient logistics network by creating proximity logistics hubs near consumption areas.
By 2026, the company plans to generate revenue of 20 billion yen from logistics facility projects, showcasing their dedication to bolstering logistical capabilities in food distribution and enhancing supply chains across the Kansai and Tokyo areas.
Located strategically in Nishinomiya at Naruhama, the planned site offers excellent advantages. The site has convenient access to the Hanshin Expressway Wangan Line via the Naruhama IC and Mukogawa IC, making it an ideal location for widespread distribution throughout the Kansai region. Moreover, the facility is situated in a quasi-industrial zone separated from residential areas, facilitating efficient logistics operations operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
