In a landmark moment for the security industry, Hikvision has announced that its series of DeepinView network cameras (iDS-2CD7x) has received the prestigious EUCC certification. This recognition marks the first time any CCTV network camera has achieved such certification, significantly boosting Hikvision's standing as a leader in product security and compliance with European cybersecurity standards.

The EUCC (European Cybersecurity Certification Scheme) certification was awarded by TrustCB B.V., an independent certification body authorized by the Dutch Digital Infrastructure Agency (RDI). The rigorous security evaluation was conducted by Bureau Veritas Cybersecurity Europe, a globally recognized independent testing laboratory. The tests followed the ISO/IEC 15408 standard and the requirements laid out in CEM2022 R1, verifying the iDS-2CD7x series meets the substantial assurance level EUCC “Substantial”, equivalent to Evaluation Assurance Level 3 (EAL3) with additional requirements on flaw removal.
