Abu Dhabi Finance Week 2026: Empowering the Capital as a Global Financial Hub
Abu Dhabi Finance Week 2026: Strengthening the Global Financial Community
Under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW) is set to return for its fifth edition from December 7 to 10, 2026. This year's theme, "The Capital Community Driven by Alliances," explores the power and resilience of an interconnected financial ecosystem that brings together global financial institutions, sovereign partners, and innovative thinkers to discuss the evolution of global capital distribution.
After the remarkable success of ADFW 2025, the event returns to the Al Maryah Island with expanded facilities to meet the growing demand for networking and collaboration opportunities. The upgraded venue is tailored to accommodate a record number of delegates and includes new spaces designed to further foster business collaborations.
Over four themed days, ADFW will feature more than 70 thematic events and is expected to welcome over 35,000 participants, alongside 800 speakers from around the globe. The previous edition gathered leaders overseeing a staggering $62 trillion in assets, which constitutes more than half of the world’s GDP.
The return of ADFW emphasizes Abu Dhabi's ongoing momentum as a globally connected and stable financial hub. It embodies a reliable destination for long-term investments and has become home to over $1.8 trillion in sovereign assets. Recognized as the top regional hub and the 12th worldwide in the NYU Stern Financial Center Competitiveness Index released last year, Abu Dhabi's position as a leader in the financial sector is clearer than ever.
In alignment with this year's theme, ADFW 2026 aims to delve into how the collective strength of global financial institutions, sovereign investors, policymakers, and innovators is shaping the future of capital allocation. Topics of discussion will encompass tokenization, private markets, artificial intelligence (AI), trading and energy, the real estate sector, and infrastructure development—focusing on effective strategies for mobilizing capital to accelerate transformation and drive sustainable growth.
S.E. Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of ADGM, highlighted, "This year’s theme, 'The Capital Community Driven by Alliances,' acknowledges that the future of finance will not be determined by individual institutions but rather by the strength of the ecosystems that connect capital, ideas, and opportunities. As the Capital of Capital, Abu Dhabi continues to draw together global investors, financial institutions, innovators, and policymakers to facilitate constructive dialogue, mobilize capital, and create lasting economic value. ADFW has become the platform where these discussions lead to alliances that shape the global economy."
ADFW 2025 witnessed participation from over 35,000 individuals and welcomed 819 speakers and participants representing organizations managing in excess of $62 trillion in capital. The event also saw the signing of 82 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and congregated over 69 global and regional strategic partners.
This year promises to be no exception, as ADFW 2026 aspires to not only build upon previous successes but also set new benchmarks in the financial community by facilitating unprecedented collaboration and innovation in the world of finance.
