In a realm where scents marry memories, the collaboration between New Distillation Laboratory and Antonic has unveiled its highly anticipated gins: Euphoria Yellow and Relaxed White. This unique partnership aims to soothe women juggling work and motherhood by encapsulating their struggles and joys in a beautifully distilled bouquet of fragrances, launching on October 20, 2025.

The Concept Behind the Gins

The project, named 'An Exploration of Scent Accompanying Loved Ones and Precious Memories', beautifully aligns with the dedication of women who battle daily challenges. These gins come alive through original recipes, capturing essence and meaning that resonate deeply with their makers.

Crafting the Experience

Antonic, located in Nakameguro, is renowned for its gin and tonic expertise, operated by Sidecar Ltd., led by Kota Takeda. Their collaboration partner from Toyama, MAE Co., Ltd., runs the New Distillation Laboratory, a creative hub focused on experimenting with distillation while adhering to their motto: “Separate, Understand, and Share.” By utilizing gas chromatography for aroma analysis, they incorporate a scientific approach to research. This results in distilled products representing a seamless blend of art and science.

Inspiration from Yuka Kasahara

Yuka Kasahara, the dynamic manager at Antonic, plays a pivotal role in this collaboration. With qualifications as a clinical laboratory technician and a robust background in biochemistry, she has become the conceptual backbone of this project. Her journey began within the realms of pharmacology but quickly evolved into a passion for crafting gins that tell a story.

Kasahara’s expedition led her to the distillation lab in Toyama—traveling through unforgettable landscapes to witness the delicate process of herb cultivation at Healthian Wood. Amidst the scents of thyme and lavender, she reflected on her relationship with her mother, propelling her motivation to create gins that embody warmth and love—a fragrant tribute to all the mothers working tirelessly every day.
