Media Fusion Launches 15 Innovative Products Marking 30th Anniversary

Media Fusion Celebrates 30 Years with Innovation

Founded on August 10, 1995, Media Fusion Co., Ltd. has continually adapted to the evolving technological landscape, particularly resilient in the wake of the devastating Hanshin-Awaji earthquake. With its head office based in Osaka, the company is proud to announce significant advancements as it marks its 30th anniversary. This year, Media Fusion is rolling out 15 new products and services, designed to leverage their wealth of development experience to support universities, research institutions, and private sector companies in their digital transformation (DX) initiatives.

New Offerings to Experience

As part of this celebratory rollout, Media Fusion will sequentially introduce trials for each of these innovative products and services throughout the summer. They are extending an invitation to universities, businesses, and research institutions interested in exploring these offerings firsthand. Customers will receive thorough briefings on product details and applicability and, whenever required, personalized trial environments will be set up to facilitate user experience. However, it should be noted that for some products with strict security protocols, demos or explanatory materials will be provided instead.

Product Innovations for Universities and Research Institutions

Media Fusion's new offerings primarily target academic institutions. Here are some key highlights:

1. MF Faculty Performance Management System New Light Pack M365 Version
This enhanced serverless performance management system runs on Microsoft 365, offering researchers a streamlined way to manage their data through a new optional feature on Power Apps that allows users to register additional data points beyond what researchmap provides. This model significantly cuts down operational costs due to its serverless nature.

2. Web Promotion Enhancement Option for MF Faculty Performance Management System M365 Version
Starting July 2026, this option enables the construction of multiple PR websites leveraging the registered performance data, moving beyond text-based promotions to include visually engaging formats with images and videos that showcase research results effectively.

3. MF Faculty Evaluation (HR Assessment) DX System M365 Version
Set to introduce new features from September 2026, this serverless system simplifies faculty evaluations by directly obtaining data from researchmap, eliminating the need for additional performance management infrastructure.

4. Open Access Support System
Designed to assist with registering papers and research data to institutional repositories, this system also comes equipped with a full version for DMP (Data Management Plan) that allows for centralized management of the publishing process.

5. ORCID Bi-directional Linkage Tool
This tool enables two-way data integration between the ORCID registry and the MF Faculty Performance Management System, thereby enhancing the international visibility of researchers within universities and encouraging global industry-academia collaboration.

6. MF Learning Portfolio DX Kit M365 Version (currently in beta)
Targeting educational institutions, this kit allows students to compile and visualize their learning experiences and achievements from courses, extracurricular activities, seminars, and internships using Microsoft 365. This package offers a flexible means of customization tailored for educational environments.

Private Enterprises & International Expansion

In addition to products for universities, Media Fusion is also focused on private sector solutions, including a new Japanese language learning service called TalkFun Japan. This dynamic e-learning service merges anime and story-telling to create an enjoyable learning experience for learners, with a beta version currently available and a full release planned for August 2026. Target markets include Vietnam, India, and Japan, aiming to cater to international learners eager to acquire Japanese skills.

Furthermore, the company is set to offer an AI Online Testing System for ISMS/PMS regulations, generated AI-based quizzes tailored to company guidelines, and a Self-Defense Server Monitoring System capable of autonomously responding to server anomalies without waiting for user verification.

Looking Ahead

Media Fusion is dedicated to collecting user feedback from those who utilize trial environments or who have fully adopted these products to foster product and service improvements. With a focus on expanding their SEaaS (SaaS Extension as a Service) concepts, the company emphasizes the importance of high scalability and cost-performance when building systems on integrated platforms like Microsoft 365.

As they continue to leverage AI capabilities and incorporate generative AI functions into their offerings, Media Fusion looks forward to developing innovative applications that meet customer needs. As they embark on this new chapter, they remain committed to enabling digital transformation in both educational and private sectors.
