Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group Accelerates Global Expansion and Quality Development in 2025

In 2025, the Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group (YRPG) achieved remarkable strides in expanding its global presence while maintaining a strong focus on quality. This prominent company from China witnessed its international revenue soar by more than four times compared to the previous year, showcasing its status as a pivotal player on the global stage. During the same period, YRPG doubled its number of global partners, indicating a concerted effort to build strong international collaborations.

With over 100 products being exported to more than 40 nations across Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific region, YRPG's commitment to global outreach is evident. The pharmaceutical industry has evolved significantly, and YRPG is adapting by ensuring that its quality systems are recognized worldwide.

In 2025, YRPG became the first pharmaceutical manufacturer in China to receive the prestigious Seven-Star certification under the EFQM Recognized by Excellence (RbE) framework, a global quality management model. This recognition is a testament to YRPG's robust quality framework, which embodies a philosophy of treating customers as cherished family members. Their approach integrates the EFQM model with a comprehensive quality management system that spans the entire value chain, from raw materials to distribution.

The global regulators have continually validated YRPG's quality system, with compliance certifications from well-respected entities like the European Medicines Agency (EMA), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA). A significant milestone was achieved in April when YRPG successfully completed a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) inspection in Uganda during its first attempt, making this its first on-site certification in Africa and paving the way for further business growth in that region.

In addition to receiving international accolades, YRPG is taking a proactive role in contributing to the creation of global quality standards. Five quality standards for traditional Chinese medicinal materials, collaboratively developed by YRPG, have been included in the European Pharmacopoeia, solidifying the company’s influence on international pharmaceutical quality norms. Furthermore, its cultivation bases in Fuding, located in Fujian Province, and Tumed Right Banner in Inner Mongolia, both received the World Health Organization (WHO) recognized Good Agriculture and Collection Practices (GACP) certification, reinforcing YRPG's commitment to quality at every stage of production.

Despite its achievements, YRPG does not stop here. In Uganda, the company is extending its reach by providing production and technical assistance to local manufacturers to enhance their operational capabilities. Plans are also in place for YRPG to establish a Pangdahai cultivation base in Laos, which will not only help secure quality raw materials but will also aid local industry development.

Additionally, the organization is expanding its industrial technical services beyond traditional product supply approaches. This entails implementing quality management systems and facilitating technology transfer to create a stronger global partnership network.

Looking ahead, 2026 signifies a turning point in YRPG's global strategy, emphasizing an aggressive expansion into international markets while maintaining a focus on sustainable, multi-market operations. As the pharmaceutical landscape transforms, the principles of quality, compliance, and reliable supply chains will remain paramount. Anchored in its commitment to excellence, YRPG is poised to broaden its portfolio of products, set new standards, innovate technologies, and enhance service offerings to support public health initiatives around the globe.

During this ongoing transformation and expansion, YRPG continues to lead with integrity and a deep commitment to quality, echoing its foundational philosophy of care and responsibility in every aspect of its operations.
