The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Tokyo Shiodome will unveil two signature cocktails designed in collaboration with the esteemed nightscape media, "Nightscape FAN." Available from July 7 to August 31, 2025, at the 24th-floor bar and lounge, "THE BAR," these cocktails are crafted under the expertise of Yuta Nakamura, a prominent nightscape consultant and photographer known for his artistic representation of Japan's stunning nocturnal vistas.

The Concept Behind the Collaboration

Yuta Nakamura holds the position of representative director at Nighscape Office, Inc., and leads the "Nightscape FAN" media outlet. His work encompasses extensive research, photography, and introduction of captivating night spots across Japan. During his visit to the hotel's 38th-floor Executive Floor, designed around the theme of "Prism & Reflection," Nakamura was inspired to conceptualize cocktails that encapsulate the night views visible from the hotel. This collaborative effort aims to imbue the drinkers with the essence of Shiodome's breathtaking nightscape through two beautifully crafted cocktails.

The cocktails will be available for tasting at "THE BAR" from July 7, 2025, to August 31, 2025, from 10 AM to 10 PM (Last order at 9 PM). The first cocktail, "Magic Hour," portrays the gradient transition from dusk to night, featuring an enchanting blend of colors reminiscent of the sky. The bottom layer symbolizes the evening glow of the skyline, represented by maraschino cherries, while shimmering city lights are depicted with a sorbet made from lemon and orange peels. The top layer showcases a deep blue reminiscent of the twilight sky achieved with "Empress 1908 Gin," a premium gin crafted through a unique collaboration between Victoria Distillers and Fairmont Empress Hotel. This vibrant blue transforms into a stunning pink upon adding tonic water or lemon, reminiscent of sunset hues.

2. Night View

The second offering, "Night View," beautifully reflects the sparkling urban landscape visible from "THE BAR," crafted in deep indigo hues combined with crushed silver dragees that sparkle like city lights. By combining the gin with lemon, grapefruit, orange, and tonic water, it delivers a refreshing experience that's perfectly aligned with the night view theme. Non-alcoholic versions are also available for those seeking a delightful mocktail experience.
