New Visions for the Future: The 4th China-CEEC Expo

On May 22, 2025, the 4th China-CEEC Expo and International Consumer Goods Fair opened its doors in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, China. This significant event, themed "New Visions for the Future," has successfully attracted over 15,000 professionals from 72 countries and regions. Experts anticipate purchasing intentions to surpass an impressive 10 billion yuan.

The exposition spans an impressive 80,000 square meters, divided into two major zones: the CEEC exhibition area and the export consumer goods zone. Across 20,000 square meters, more than 400 exhibitors are showcasing over 8,000 unique products. Highlights include Czech beer, Slovenian honey, Hungarian down jackets, and Slovenian skiing equipment. In the export area, over 1,000 Chinese companies display high-quality products, encompassing consumer goods and advanced technologies, creating a comprehensive technological exhibit for global buyers.

Throughout the Expo, a series of activities will take place, including business matching and intergovernmental exchange initiatives. Noteworthy conferences include the joint chambers meeting of China and the EU, as well as the 7th China-EU dialogue focused on customs, inspection, and quarantine cooperation – aimed at streamlining regulations. Another side event, the Mayor Forum China-CEEC 2025, is set to shape a new paradigm in urban management, while the International Regatta China-Central and Eastern Europe will promote cultural exchange.

Additionally, interactive sessions like the "Hi-Go" CEEC product shopping festival will be offered in a hybrid format, allowing for both online and offline participation. This year, Slovenia and Slovakia are the honored guest nations, and for the first time, exhibitors from nine other countries including the UK, France, and Germany are participating alongside all 14 CEEC members.

Leading institutions like the World Bank, the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, and prestigious corporations such as Sanofi, Novartis, and Morgan Stanley have also been invited to join the event, marking a significant milestone for the expo.

With an eye toward the future, the expo aims to unlock greater potential and expand collaborative scopes. By fostering a regulated exchange mechanism, it seeks to harness new opportunities for industrial transformation and investment. The overall ambition of the expo is not only to showcase products but also to cultivate lasting partnerships and strengthen international ties, propelling trade forward in this rapidly changing landscape.

In conclusion, the 4th China-CEEC Expo stands as a testament to the commitment towards international cooperation and the promotion of shared economic growth. As countries come together to share resources, insights, and opportunities, the foundations for future alliances and innovation are firmly laid at this remarkable event.
