FutureLife Launches Comprehensive AI Fertility Platform Across Europe in Partnership with Alife Health

FutureLife Launches AI-Powered Fertility Platform

In a groundbreaking initiative, the FutureLife Group has announced a large-scale collaboration with Alife Health to introduce an innovative, comprehensive AI-based fertility platform to clinics across 16 European countries. This new partnership aims to enhance the fertility treatment journey for both medical professionals and patients by leveraging cutting-edge technology and data-driven insights.

The introduction of this platform marks FutureLife as the first major fertility network in Europe to adopt such an advanced AI-driven approach, establishing it as the largest of its kind on the continent. FutureLife has already implemented the promising AI tool, Embryo Predict™, which has received the CE mark certification, indicating it meets quality and safety standards in the European Union. This tool specializes in evaluating blastocysts, providing critical information that aids doctors in making informed decisions regarding embryo transfers.

Transforming Fertility Care

With the AI platform, the IVF process will see improvements in its efficiency and consistency. The system will assist clinics through every stage of treatment, from initial planning to the selection of embryos. By using machine learning and deep learning algorithms, the platform generates AI scores for each embryo and creates personalized reports for patients, enhancing the understanding and transparency of the treatment process.

In addition to Embryo Predict™, the platform also features the “Success Predictor™,” a tool that offers predictions about treatment outcomes before the actual procedure takes place. This insight grants patients a clearer view of their chances of success, helping them make informed decisions. Moreover, the “Egg Retrieval Report” is another supportive tool designed to provide women with an overview of their evolving chances of success immediately after egg retrieval.

This comprehensive approach not only aims to facilitate the clinical decision-making process but also seeks to introduce uniform reporting standards across all partnered clinics, ensuring that patients receive consistent, data-driven care. Alongside these developments, the collaboration will also produce educational materials for both patients and medical practitioners to encourage a better understanding of the processes involved in fertility treatments.

The Vision Behind the Partnership

Francisco Lobbosco, CEO of FutureLife, expressed his belief in the continuous evolution of fertility medicine, stating, "To meet the latest scientific developments, the field of fertility medicine must always progress. By integrating AI within our clinical workflow, we improve the quality of care for the patients and families that trust us."

FutureLife’s Chief Scientific Officer, Amy Barrie, further emphasized the significance of this partnership, highlighting how the use of this AI platform will equip clinical teams with a more objective, data-driven foundation for their decisions, ultimately enhancing overall laboratory performance.

Melissa Teran, CEO, and co-founder of Alife Health noted, "When a leading fertility treatment network commits institutionally to AI-assisted fertility treatments, it signifies that this technology is moving from experimental stages to mainstream practice. We are proud to work with FutureLife, as the organization is at the forefront of the next phase of data-driven fertility treatment."

Future Implications and the Path Ahead

The FutureLife Group performs over 77,000 IVF cycles each year and operates 60 clinics staffed by more than 2,400 professionals across 16 countries. The organization continues to expand its European presence both through organic growth and strategic acquisitions. FutureLife is co-owned by CVC and Hartenberg. The implementation of the platform represents a crucial step towards ensuring that everyone who wishes to start a family has the ability to do so, aligning closely with FutureLife’s mission centered on evidence-based treatment strategies, ethics, and high standards.
