Alejandro Przygoda’s Background

Before founding Przygoda & Co., Alejandro G. Przygoda held several executive roles in investment banking. Notably, he served as co-head of Global Investment Banking and global head of the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) at Jefferies from 2021 to 2025. Prior to this, he spent 18 years at Credit Suisse, where he played a pivotal role as the global head of FIG for the last decade. His banking career began in 1995 with CS First Boston in New York, followed by leadership positions at Greenhill and UBS. His impressive background also includes being the CFO of the Argentine subsidiary of General Re from 1990 to 1993.

Przygoda earned his MBA from the Wharton School of Business with honors, making him a Palmer Scholar. Additionally, he graduated top of his class from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, achieving a bachelor’s degree in accounting, along with a CPA designation in Argentina.

Educational Contributions

Przygoda is also engaged in academia, providing lectures on shareholder activism and mergers and acquisitions at the Wharton School. Furthermore, he is a member of the board of trustees at the Collegiate School in New York City, reflecting his commitment to educational initiatives and community involvement.
