Aeson Power Unveils Innovative Sodium-Ion Solutions at Data Centre World Asia 2025

Aeson Power Showcases Cutting-Edge Energy Solutions at Data Centre World Asia 2025

Aeson Power, a prominent player in the energy sector hailing from Australia, recently unveiled an impressive array of sodium-ion battery and bipolar UPS solutions at the much-anticipated Data Centre World Asia 2025, held at the Singapore Expo and Convention Centre. This event attracted a diverse audience, where Aeson Power set out to demonstrate its commitment to innovation in energy efficiency.

Innovative Solutions Addressing Industry Needs

As data centers face increasing demands for efficient and reliable energy storage systems, Aeson Power has introduced solutions specifically tailored to meet these challenges. Among the highlighted products was a 6C high-rate sodium-ion battery, replacing traditional 12V200Ah lead-acid systems. This new solution boasts a 70% reduction in battery capacity while also seeing a significant decrease in both volume and weight—over 50%. Additionally, it contributes to a more than 50% reduction in cooling energy consumption, which is crucial for maintaining optimal data center conditions.

The company has placed a strong emphasis on resilience, particularly vital for outdoor telecommunication base stations operating in harsh environments and regions where grid stability is lacking. Their 48V50Ah sodium-ion standard module is designed to endure extreme climates with operational temperatures ranging from -40°C to high heat. Compared to similar lithium-ion offerings, this solution provides a longer cycle life, enhanced safety, and predictable long-term operational costs.

Reliable Backup Power for Unstable Regions

For areas in Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Africa, where power instability is commonplace, Aeson Power introduced a 12V100Ah sodium-ion battery solution. This innovative product is not only 50% lighter than lead-acid alternatives but also offers over 25% longer medium-duration backup capability, alongside a staggering five times increase in deep-cycle life, fully compatible with float charging systems.

In addition to sodium-ion technology, Aeson Power showcased its advanced bipolar battery solutions suited for large-scale data center backup. The newly introduced TUS series incorporates state-of-the-art bipolar plates and 3D stacking connection technology, resulting in a remarkable 70% reduction in internal resistance and an enhancement in discharge voltage by roughly 0.9V per 12V unit. This translates to a 35% increase in power density over five minutes and more than 15% reduction in dimensions and weight, presenting a powerful alternative to conventional high-rate lead-acid batteries while simultaneously reducing overall system costs.

Commitment to Quality and Sustainability

Aeson Power combines over 30 years of expertise in lead-acid manufacturing and is dedicated to providing reliable and cost-effective energy solutions. With advanced processes like CCCP and COS, their HR series is specifically developed for short-duration backup needs, while the FAB series addresses long-duration standby requirements.

This ongoing effort to deliver safe, clean, and affordable energy solutions positions Aeson Power as a trustworthy leader in both sodium-ion battery innovations and advanced backup systems across various industries globally. As energy demands rise, the company's initiatives and technology advancements remain focused on enhancing performance, ensuring reliability, and promoting sustainable energy solutions worldwide.
