AI Storm Successfully Completes Phase One of System Integration Project with Rhythm Inc.

AI Storm Achieves Milestone in System Integration Project with Rhythm Inc.

AI Storm Inc., formerly known as Jexceed, has made a significant stride in its journey towards a major company-wide transformation with the successful completion of phase one of the "Rhythm Company Core System Renewal and Integration Project." This phase, which involved a comprehensive system upgrade and operational launch, was successfully concluded in May 2025.

Project Overview

  • - Project Name: Rhythm Company Core System Renewal and Integration Project
  • - Start Date: January 2024 (concept development phase)
  • - Planned Duration: January 2024 - Fiscal Year 2027
  • - Objective: To consolidate multiple core systems used by Rhythm Inc. into Oracle JD Edwards (JDE) to enhance operational efficiency.

Background

Rhythm Inc. (formerly known as Rhythm Clock Manufacturing Co.) underwent a merger in October 2020, incorporating its subsidiaries, Tohoku Rhythm Co., Ltd. and Rhythm Kyoshin Co., Ltd. Despite this integration, the company continued to utilize diverse legacy systems corresponding to its former corporate structure. This multi-system reliance led to issues such as data fragmentation and operational inefficiencies.

Since 2010, AI Storm has been providing implementation and operational support for Oracle JD Edwards within Rhythm, establishing a strong foundation of trust. As a result, a company-wide direction for integrating systems into JDE was set forth. The initial step involved upgrading the existing JDE environment to the latest operating system and enhancing its functionalities, thereby creating a stable operational foundation.

This initiative lays the groundwork for a unified system across Rhythm Inc., which is expected to bolster business efficiency and enhance the management infrastructure through data integration. Additionally, the project anticipates facilitating quicker access to management information and strengthening global responsiveness in the future.

Achievements and Future Outlook

With the completion of this upgrade, the core system central to the integration of Rhythm's operations has been modernized, and a shared foundation for further integration has been established. Integration of legacy systems is being executed in phases, with phase two of the project currently in progress.

AI Storm plans to leverage its extensive experience from supporting JDE implementation and operations as it continues to work towards the successful completion of this project.

This initiative is poised to accelerate AI Storm’s growth strategy, targeting a market capitalization exceeding 50 billion yen, alongside its endeavors in artificial intelligence and truck-related businesses.
