Midea Enhances Professional Services for Sustainable HVAC Solutions at MCE 2026

On March 30, 2026, during the MCE 2026 event held in Milan, Midea showcased its commitment to sustainability and innovation with the theme "Green Vision, Blue Future." This year, the spotlight was not solely on their cutting-edge heating and cooling products, but on the comprehensive evolution of their service ecosystem designed to enhance user experience throughout the entire lifecycle of their offerings.

Midea’s New Professional Service Ecosystem

Midea revealed its innovative HVAC Professional Service System, which focuses on delivering a holistic support platform for its customers. This system is divided into three main pillars:

1. Midea Club: A global initiative that provides installations incentives across 21 countries with over 210,000 registered members. This program recognizes installers and contractors by rewarding them for every installation completed. It offers additional benefits such as free training and AI-assisted tools that help generate new business opportunities through intelligent follow-ups.

2. Midea Solutions Hub: Collaborative spaces set up with local partners allow for personalized product displays and installations. By creating shared spaces, Midea aims to streamline installers' operations, making it easier for them to access products and training.

3. Blue Service Midea Academy: This is the backbone of Midea’s technical support, boasting over 170 assistance centers across Italy alone. The eight specialized Blue Service hubs function as micro-logistics centers, ensuring quick access to original spare parts and elevating service quality with expert training for technicians. This not only strengthens brand presence but also instills trust in customers.

Panel Discussions and Industry Collaboration

In conjunction with Midea’s innovations, a panel discussion took place featuring prominent figures from the HVAC industry, focusing on the transition towards more sustainable energy solutions. Together with the Italian HVAC association Assoclima, discussions revolved around transforming the current product-focused model into an integrated product-service approach. Topics included standardizing installation practices and enhancing the expertise of installers to foster greater customer trust.

Midea’s Flagship Products

Complementing their service advancements, Midea displayed an impressive range of flagship products that align with their sustainability goals:

  • - Residential Air Conditioning (RAC): Notable mentions included their R290 split AC rollout in Malta, which is being looked at as a model for wider adoption in Europe. They also highlighted the award-winning H-Pack indoor heat pump and introduced the new PortaSplit Cool, building upon their previously recognized PortaSplit range. The Solstice system, recognized for its AI-driven energy efficiency, promises to reduce energy consumption by over 30%.
