All-real team from
Minerva University has emerged as Japan's champion for the
L'Oréal Brandstorm 2026, the world's largest youth innovation competition. Conducted by
L'Oréal Japan, the competition saw an unprecedented participation of 623 individuals across 43 projects, culminating in a fierce battle for the top spot.
The intensity of this year's national finals was underscored by a multitude of exceptional and advanced proposals, with the top three teams delivering passionate presentations to secure their place as the representative of Japan. Team All-real, having captured the judges' attention, will now proudly represent Japan in the international finals set to take place from June 18 to 19, 2026, in Paris, France, where they will compete against teams from 64 countries around the globe.
The Mission: Redefining Luxury Fragrance
This year's challenge, partnered with L'Oréal's Luxury Division, called for participants to 'create the future of luxury fragrance.' Competitors were tasked with redefining the concept of perfume through the integration of AI technology, sustainability efforts, and inclusivity. The All-real team put forward an innovative proposal that blended global insights with cutting-edge technology, facilitating a next-generation fragrance experience that vividly expresses personal identity. This fusion of excellence sought by L'Oréal and Minerva's unique creative and logical problem-solving was highly lauded by the judges.

Celebrating its 34th iteration, this year's
Brandstorm recorded over 380,000 participants from 64 countries, making it the largest event in its history and reinforcing its status as a premier global innovation competition.

Looking Ahead to the International Finals
The global finals, hosted at the legendary venue
Le Visionnaire in Paris, will also offer participating teams the chance to present at
Viv Technology 2026, Europe's largest tech event. The winning team will receive a special mission at L'Oréal's Paris headquarters for three months, along with the opportunity to pursue a global career with L'Oréal after the program concludes.
