ATRenew Inc. Reports Impressive Q2 2026 Financial Results

SHANGHAI, Aug. 20, 2026 - ATRenew Inc., a leading provider of technology-driven recycling and trade-in solutions for consumer products in China, has announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2026, demonstrating substantial growth compared to the same period in the previous year.

Key Financial Highlights

During the three months ending June 30, 2026, ATRenew reported total net revenues of RMB 6.609 billion (approximately US$974.1 million), a significant increase of 32.4% from RMB 4.992 billion noted during the same quarter in 2025. The surge in revenue can be largely attributed to the robust sales of pre-owned consumer electronics facilitated through the company’s online platforms.

The company reported an impressive 95.7% increase in income from operations, rising to RMB 178.3 million (around US$26.3 million), up from RMB 91.1 million in Q2 2025. Adjusted income from operations also saw a remarkable growth of 70.1%, amounting to RMB 206.3 million.

Net income came in at RMB 129.1 million (about US$19.0 million), which signifies a 78.6% increase compared to the RMB 72.3 million recorded in Q2 2025. Similarly, adjusted net income grew by 57.3%, reaching RMB 157.1 million.

The volume of consumer products transacted during this period rose to 11.6 million, reflecting a solid growth in customer engagement and platform activity compared to 10.3 million in the prior year’s second quarter.

Strategic Insights from Leadership

Kerry Xuefeng Chen, the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of ATRenew, expressed his satisfaction with the company’s performance. He noted, “We are pleased to report another strong quarter for ATRenew. Our year-on-year revenue increase is a direct result of leveraging our specialized supply chain capabilities through our first-party business model. We have emphasized not only delivering an exceptional recycling and trade-in experience for users but also increasing access to compliant refurbished products, ensuring a steady supply of high-quality second-hand devices.”

Rex Chen, Chief Financial Officer, emphasized that ATRenew exceeded revenue expectations and achieved rapid profit growth within the quarter. He mentioned the focus on upgrading AHS store capabilities and refining sales channels as critical aspects of the company’s strategy, alongside prudent investments in brand marketing and cost management.

Revenue Breakdown

The breakdown of revenues in Q2 2026 shows that net product revenues increased by 35.9% to RMB 6.195 billion (US$913.0 million), primarily driven by the rise in pre-owned electronics sales. In contrast, net service revenues saw a slight decline of 4.2%, totaling RMB 414.6 million due to temporary discounts offered during promotional events.

Operating costs also reflected growth, rising to RMB 6.442 billion (US$949.5 million), equivalent to a 31.0% increase year-on-year, mostly linked to higher merchandise and logistics costs stemming from expanded operations.

Looking Ahead

For the third quarter of 2026, ATRenew anticipates total revenues between RMB 6.340 billion and RMB 6.440 billion, indicating a year-on-year increase of approximately 23.1% to 25.1%. These projections reflect the current operational landscape and may evolve based on market conditions.

On another note, the company has also rolled out a share repurchase program, allocating up to US$50 million for repurchasing its shares, which underscores its commitment to enhancing shareholder value.

Environmental Commitment
ATRenew is also devoted to sustainability practices. The recently published 2025 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) report outlined significant achievements, such as a 9.5% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions intensity, aligning with its long-term sustainability goals.

In conclusion, ATRenew’s financial results for Q2 2026 illustrate not only the company’s current successes but also its strategic direction toward robust growth, sustainability, and creating added value in the second-hand electronics market. Investors and stakeholders alike will benefit from monitoring ATRenew’s ongoing developments as it continues to redefine industry standards in recycling and trade-in services.
