Blokees Unveils New Collections at Singapore Comic Con 2024
During the 2024 Singapore Comic Con, which took place from December 7-8, Blokees made their mark with a stunning showcase that left fans in awe. For the first time, the company introduced a new collection themed around the iconic
Sesame Street, accompanied by a wide array of figures that captivated attendees.
The booth featured a spectacular range of internationally recognized figures protected by intellectual property rights, including popular collections from Marvel's
Infinity Saga,
Marvel's Spidey and His Amazing Friends,
TRANSFORMERS,
Hatsune Miku,
Saint Seiya,
Ultraman,
Naruto,
Hero Infinity,
Magic Blocks, and
Yeloli.
In addition to their figures, Blokees offered a captivating glimpse into the creative designs of their
Blokees Figures Creator (BFC), allowing visitors to witness the imaginative projects developed worldwide. Blokees’ booth quickly became one of the main attractions of the event, highlighting innovative designs that brought to life the meticulously crafted world of figures.
Visitors could explore scenes and elements from various classic IP collections such as
Sesame Street,
Marvel's Infinity Saga, and
Ultraman, embarking on a magical journey through a multicultural universe. A standout attraction was the debut of the
Blokees Figures-Sesame Street preCOOL collection. This special lineup was developed to commemorate the 55th anniversary of
Sesame Street, showcasing four new products featuring beloved characters such as Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, and Abby.
Thanks to a partnership with
Sesame Street that spans 40 countries and regions, consumers worldwide will soon have the opportunity to enjoy these unique figures.
Another highlight was a special exhibition on the right side of the booth featuring BFC works. This year, Blokees presented domestic BFCs as well as, for the first time, works from international creators. Notably, Singapore's Wong (@izakku_ben) recreated Blokees TRANSFORMERS Optimus Prime from the Classic Class series, employing sophisticated painting techniques including weathering, which brought the character to life. Similarly, Sun (@Liang Gong) from mainland China recreated Blokees products featuring characters Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei—three brothers who met abroad—fostering appreciation of traditional Chinese culture on the international stage via the SGCC platform.
Looking ahead, Blokees is committed to continuing innovative product development while expanding collaborations with globally renowned IPs, sharing the joy of building with the world. Their presence at Singapore Comic Con exemplifies their dedication to captivating fandom and enhancing creative engagement within the toy and collectibles community.
