Sumitomo Forestry Home Tech Secures Top Rank in Oricon Satisfaction for 2025

Sumitomo Forestry Home Tech's Remarkable Achievement in Customer Satisfaction

Sumitomo Forestry Home Tech, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sumitomo Forestry, announced a significant milestone as it claimed the top position in the 2025 Oricon Customer Satisfaction Ranking for the Full Renovation category. This marks the third consecutive year that the company has received this prestigious award, having previously triumphed in both 2023 and 2024.

Headquartered in the Chiyoda Ward of Tokyo, Sumitomo Forestry Home Tech boasts a wealth of experience and expertise in the renovation sector, specializing in a diverse range of projects that span from wooden single-family homes and condominiums to commercial spaces and offices. The company's success in the ranking has been largely attributed to its exceptional performance in various criteria such as the hospitality and proposal capabilities of its sales representatives, the quality of finishes and designs, and the responsiveness of its construction teams.

Furthermore, Sumitomo Forestry Home Tech has also achieved remarkable success in the Detached Housing Renovation category, securing the number one spot for four straight years. This double distinction reinforces the company's position as a leader in providing quality renovation services, showcasing its commitment to excellence in customer satisfaction.

The Oricon Customer Satisfaction Ranking for Full Renovation and Detached Housing Renovation is an independent survey conducted by Oricon ME, focusing on customer feedback regarding their experiences with renovation services. This ranking acts as a tool for consumers to make informed decisions when selecting products and services, while simultaneously providing businesses with insights to enhance customer satisfaction through third-party evaluations.

The methodology of the survey involves internet-based research gathered between July 22 and August 15, 2025, for Full Renovation, as well as corresponding periods in prior years. The study targets individuals aged between 20 and 84 who have had experience with full renovations — defined as projects involving multiple areas (kitchen, bathrooms, toilets, living rooms, etc.) with an expenditure of more than 5 million yen. Importantly, the survey excludes those who have undertaken renovations on rental properties.

Among the respondents, 2,650 participants provided insights for the Full Renovation survey, while the Detached Housing Renovation category received feedback from 17,540 participants, indicating a robust representation of consumer satisfaction across a broad demographic.

Sumitomo Forestry Home Tech continues to emphasize sustainable practices and quality services, striving to contribute to a sustainable and affluent society through its various offerings that cater to the diverse needs of homeowners. By maintaining a high standard of customer interactions and ensuring top-notch renovation outcomes, the company affirms its commitment to enhancing the lives of its clients.

As the home renovation landscape evolves, Sumitomo Forestry Home Tech remains at the forefront, ready to meet the challenges of future demands while preserving the integrity and quality that has led to its recognition as a leader in customer satisfaction.

With ongoing efforts and a focus on innovation, Sumitomo Forestry Home Tech is well-poised to continue its legacy of excellence in the home improvement industry, demonstrating that customer satisfaction is not just a goal, but a core value that drives the company forward.
