Introducing SUNA ART
From the creative minds at Brillista Global Commerce, located in Yonezawa City, Yamagata, comes a one-of-a-kind memorial product:
SUNA ART. This exceptional piece signifies the unbreakable bonds shared between loved ones, set to become available for preorder starting
May 9, 2025 on Makuake, a platform for supporting innovative projects.
The Journey to SUNA ART
Brillista Global Commerce, in collaboration with
LIB, a wedding memorabilia producer from Yamagata City, has brought to life the
SUNA ART project. Utilizing LIB's expertise in crafting cherishable wedding items—including over 2,000 pieces based on the unique sand ceremony concept—
SUNA ART aims to redefine the experience of memorial arts.
The Sand Ceremony Philosophy
The underlying philosophy of SUNA ART is rooted in the traditional sand ceremony, where colored sands are mixed together to symbolize the unbreakable bond of marriage—
once mixed, they cannot be separated. This concept deeply resonates with the fleeting nature of life and relationships, representing the keepsakes of joyful moments shared with family and loved ones.
A New Approach to Commemoration
SUNA ART reimagines how we celebrate multifaceted connections by allowing users to participate in the creation of a custom memorial piece. The design promotes engagement, encouraging people to visually express their unique stories through carefully curated sand colors and delightful mementos.
Features of SUNA ART
- - Customization Options: Unlike traditional commemorative pieces that feature only engravings, SUNA ART allows for the addition of photographs, logos, and illustrations, making it versatile for various celebrations such as weddings, family births, store openings, and graduations.
- - Material Choices: Customers can select between warm Hinoki (Japanese cypress) or sleek Walnut wood frames, ensuring a cozy yet sophisticated aesthetic.
- - Color Selection: In addition to the original four color combinations, 16 vibrant hues can now be chosen, allowing for full customization of the sand colors to complement any occasion.
Craftsmanship at Its Core
SUNA ART is beautifully handcrafted by skilled artisans who listen to each customer's vision. Each piece is an exclusive embodiment of their collective memories and promises for the future. Watch the creation process on YouTube and see the meticulous care that goes into each SUNA ART product.
