Light of Tomorrow: A Solo Exhibition by Mara Sfara
The Medici Museum of Art is excited to welcome art enthusiasts to
The Light of Tomorrow, a compelling solo exhibition by the renowned sculptor and painter
Mara Sfara. The event is set to open with a public reception on
July 11, 2025, from
5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the museum located at
9350 E. Market Street in Warren, Ohio.
Mara Sfara's artistic journey is celebrated for its emotive, figurative sculptures and vivid paintings that reflect a unique blend of classical techniques and contemporary ideals. This exhibition presents a powerful array of works, including sculptures and mixed-media pieces, that delve into themes of renewal, resilience, and the innate hope embedded in our future.
At the heart of
The Light of Tomorrow is the artist's desire to remind audiences of the strength of the human spirit. Sfara's creations do more than just exist as art; they serve as catalysts for reflection on how art can inspire change and foster connection in today's world.
Katelyn Amendolara-Russo, the Executive Director of the Medici Museum of Art, shares her enthusiasm about the exhibition, stating, "Mara Sfara's art radiates compassion, curiosity, and timeless storytelling. Her sculptures and paintings bring a sense of beauty and optimism to a world often clouded by uncertainty. The Light of Tomorrow is a celebration of hope—one that we are honored to share with our community."
In addition to exhibiting Sfara's work, the event will also feature the opening of the
ZODIAC exhibition, in collaboration with the Carole Feuerman Sculpture Foundation, and an intriguing historical display named
OIL TO ART: A Rockefeller Legacy by
Steven Rockefeller. This rich cultural evening at the museum promises an engaging experience for all attendees.
