Celebrate Kotonohabunko's 7th Anniversary with a Special Cafe Experience



In September 2026, Micro Magazine will be hosting an exciting limited-time collaboration cafe at Cafe & Dining Take in Tokyo to celebrate the 7th anniversary of its literary label, Kotonohabunko. This event will feature six specially crafted menu items inspired by some of the most beloved books in the label's collection, inviting both fans and newcomers to immerse themselves in a unique literary ambiance while enjoying delicious food and drink.

Event Details


  • - Location: Cafe & Dining Take, B1F Yodokou Building, 1-3-7 Shintomi, Chuo Ward, Tokyo
  • - Duration: September 1 (Tuesday) – September 30 (Wednesday), 2026
  • - Regular Hours: 10:30 AM - 8:00 PM (Mon-Wed), 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM (Thu-Fri), 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM on September 12 and September 26 (Saturday)
  • - Closed: Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, except for the special Saturdays mentioned above.
  • - Nearest Stations: A 5-minute walk from Hachobori Station (Hibiya Line, JR Keiyo Line), Shin-Tomicho Station (Yurakucho Line), and Takaracho Station (Toei Asakusa Line)

In addition to the delightful menus, every order of a collaboration item will grant patrons a special limited-edition paper lunch mat (which doubles as a book cover) featuring illustrations from the works. There are six different designs available, each correlating with the chosen menu item, encouraging guests to collect them all!

Each dish and drink is inspired by a unique title from the Kotonohabunko collection:

  • - Food Item: Midnight Western Cuisine Plate (¥1,800)
Inspired by A Midnight Western Cuisine Menu of an Arranged Marriage Couple by Shima Mizushima. Enjoy deep-fried prawns and a popular hand-formed hamburger set on a beautiful plate with mashed potatoes, salad, and more!

  • - Drinks:
- Shared Lemonade (¥950), inspired by Blue Eyes and Cursed Goods from Osaka by Hiroka Yukitsuki. A refreshing drink with a stunning blue gradient topped with lemon sorbet.
- Cat Latte with Mochi Art (¥800) from the Patrolman and the Beckoning Cat series by Midori Uehara, featuring a fragrant latte with hand-drawn latte art.
