Enhancements to the Ohr-O'Keefe Museum

In a bid to enhance the visitor experience, the Ohr-O'Keefe Museum will benefit from the Legacy America250 Grant. The funding will facilitate essential restorations, including updates to the Pleasant Reed House. Visitors can look forward to new ADA-compliant listening rooms and improvements to the museum's current exhibits, including works like 'The Wade-Ins' and 'City Within a City'. Furthermore, a new film titled 'Joys and Blues of East Biloxi' aims to captivate audiences with powerful storytelling.

Art Initiatives at Lynn Meadows Discovery Center

The Lynn Meadows Discovery Center is also participating in the America250 celebrations with two collaborative art initiatives. Anticipated completion in December 2026, the Walter Anderson Digitalization Project will enhance access to Anderson's remarkable works through free online exhibitions.
