Huawei Cloud Unveils Global Partnership Policies

On January 22, 2026, Huawei Cloud, a leading cloud computing provider, introduced its global sales partnership policies during a launch event in Singapore. Themed "Shared Intelligence, Shared Success", the event emphasized Huawei Cloud's commitment to fostering sustainable growth through robust partnerships in the age of artificial intelligence.

A Vision for Growth in the AI Era

Charles Yang, Senior Vice President of Huawei and President of Huawei Cloud Global Marketing and Sales Service, highlighted the immense opportunities that the intelligence era presents for Huawei Cloud and its partners. The innovative solutions, including the industry’s leading CloudMatrix supernode and the Pangu models tailored for key industry scenarios, illustrate Huawei Cloud's dedication to systemic innovation. The company's MaaS (Model as a Service) platform further broadens the range of applications available, supported by comprehensive data governance and end-to-end security initiatives.

Policies for Enhanced Trust and Profitability

The new partnership policies focus on building greater trust, increasing profitability, simplifying collaboration, and driving partner growth. Yang emphasized that Huawei Cloud is committed to defining clear commercial boundaries and market strategies to ensure non-competitive profit-sharing among partners. These policies are set to remain unchanged for the next three years.

Huawei Cloud aims to bolster partner profitability through five strategic enhancements, providing competitive discounts, incentives, and increased project collaboration. To streamline partnerships, a dedicated Partner Center will be upgraded, featuring integrated workshops designed to enhance cooperation and efficiency, coupled with stringent anti-corruption guidelines.

Supporting Long-term Sustainable Partnerships

Yang stated, "The cloud and AI represent a 30-year marathon that has just begun. The partners you choose are as crucial as your destination. A true partnership is about long-term engagement rather than short-term gains." This commitment to long-term relationships reinforces Huawei Cloud's positioning as a supportive ally for partners seeking sustainable and mutual advancements.

Celebrating Past Achievements and Expanding Partnerships

Li Shi, President of Huawei Cloud Computing Global Sales, reflected on the significant progress made between Huawei Cloud and its partners. In 2025, partner-driven business at Huawei Cloud saw a remarkable growth of over 50%, with an expanding network of partners. To date, Huawei Cloud has established partnerships with more than 40 global distributors and 50 premier cloud solution providers outside China, contributing to its extensive ecosystem of over 4,000 global partners and hundreds of thousands of paying customers.

As part of its commitment to nurturing a healthy and autonomous partner ecosystem, Huawei Cloud has redefined its customer account classifications and clarified the roles and responsibilities shared with its partners. This revision aims to maintain ecosystem stability while ensuring partners' success through a framework centered around incentives, benefits, and regulations.

Enhancements to Partner Integration and Support

The partnership framework will be upgraded this year to improve overall partner growth support. This enhancement includes amplifying partner voices on Huawei Cloud's global media matrix, assisting in branding initiatives through over 50 key reference points, and increasing market development funding. Additionally, partners will be invited to participate in Huawei Cloud's global marketing events to broaden their outreach and market presence.

Furthermore, Huawei Cloud will implement a tailored system for partner integration that spans strategic perspectives and sales practices, catering to various roles. Business leaders will benefit from discussions with executives about industry trends, digital transformation, and AI strategy alignment, while core teams will receive training focused on business operations, industry insights, and growth strategies. Hands-on training sessions will also be provided for business developers, sales advocates, and customer success managers to enhance their expertise.

Dale Chen, Director of Partner Development at Huawei Cloud for the Asia-Pacific region, commented on the rapid growth of Huawei Cloud as a leading public cloud service provider in the area. In the past five years, the compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in the Asia-Pacific region has exceeded 40%, with over half of this revenue stemming from its partners. Huawei Cloud's client portfolio includes over 50 financial services customers, 200 public and enterprise clients, and 500 native internet and cloud customers in the region.

The partnership summit also featured testimonials from partners in Thailand, Singapore, Argentina, and Turkey, showcasing their experiences in exploring global markets and achieving mutual growth.

As Huawei Cloud ramps up its innovative efforts and partnerships, it is poised to continue impacting the transformative AI landscape across various industries, ensuring that partners and customers alike thrive in this new era.
