A Pirate's Life: Treasure Hunt Adventure Camp for Kids

This exciting adventure begins on August 26, 2026, as we invite children from grades 1 to 6 to join us for a 4-day treasure hunt camp designed to inspire teamwork, creativity, and a sense of adventure. Hosted by Plus One Education, a subsidiary of the Riso Education Group based in Tokyo, this unique camp is set in the picturesque Hakuba Village of Nagano Prefecture.

Highlights of the Adventure Camp

1. Team-Building Raft Construction

Participants will collaborate to build rafts using various materials, fostering cooperation and problem-solving skills. This task includes learning to master knot tying techniques to ensure the raft's safety. Once constructed, these rafts will literally sail into the lake for exploration. With life jackets provided and experienced staff overseeing the event, children will safely enjoy this unforgettable experience on the water.

2. Exciting Activities and Experiences

During this four-day adventure, kids will partake in diverse activities, including treasure hunts and a firework festival. The themed missions—focused on pirates and treasure—will add an engaging storyline to the camp. Events will take place in safe areas, ensuring that children can enjoy swimming and fishing activities without any worries. The water depth is measured to be safe for children, reaching only from their ankles to just below their knees.

3. Culinary Delights

An essential part of any adventure is the food! Guests will enjoy a pirate-themed dinner each night and have the chance to indulge in barbecues for lunch. Not only do we prioritize fun-filled activities, but we also present unique culinary experiences that kids will remember long after the camp is over. Camp Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Pirate Mapping

• - 7:30 - 8:30: Departure from Shinjuku (Express Train)
• - Explore and gather hints on pirate maps
• - Discover secret item cards and complete the treasure map
• - Dinner featuring pirate-themed cuisine at the lodge

Day 2: Treasure Hunting and Fireworks

• - Treasure hunt in the forest
• - Enjoy a collaborative barbecue with fellow campers
• - Participate in a treasure hunt game at the river
• - Relax with a spectacular firework show in the evening

Day 3: Raft Building and Lake Exploration

• - Use discovered coins for festival games
• - Learn how to build a raft under expert guidance
• - Set off on a lake expedition aboard the rafts
• - Evening spent in a jolly celebration at the lodge

Day 4: Nature Exploration and Goodbye

• - Ride the gondola for breathtaking views
• - Conclude with the final treasure hunt at the Hakuba Botanical Garden
• - Depart around 17:30 to arrive back at Shinjuku

Enrollment and Details

The journey is part of a promotional travel initiative and requires registration by August 16, 2026. The camp accommodates 42 participants with a minimum of 10 for it to proceed. Each group of 5-8 children will be accompanied by one staff member.

Pricing: 95,700 yen per child, which includes transportation, lodging, meals, activity fees, and travel insurance.
