DAKS Unveils Exclusive Suitcases in Unique Collaboration

Renowned British brand DAKS is thrilled to announce its collaboration with the luxury label GLOBE-TROTTER and the globally recognized illustrator Mr. Slowboy (Fei Wang). This partnership has resulted in an exclusive capsule collection of suitcases, set to make its debut at the DAKS flagship store, DAKS Aoyama, starting June 14, 2025. This special release will also be available at select DAKS locations across Japan.

To celebrate the launch of these uniquely designed suitcases, DAKS is hosting Mr. Slowboy’s first-ever exhibition in Japan, titled Suitcase and Showcase – The Original Artwork of Mr. Slowboy, Unpacked. This exhibition will run from June 14 to July 6, 2025, in the event space located on the first floor of the DAKS Aoyama store.

Featured Collaboration Suitcases

The collaboration features two exquisite suitcase designs, carefully crafted to align with the refined aesthetics of both GLOBE-TROTTER and Mr. Slowboy.
1. Carry-On Case: Inspired by GLOBE-TROTTER’s popular Centenary collection, this limited-edition carry-on suitcase is priced at ¥429,000 and comes in three vibrant color combinations: navy and brown, red and tan, and chocolate brown and cobalt blue.

2. Large Check-In Suitcase: Also based on the Centenary collection, this large check-in suitcase is finished in dark brown leather and is available for ¥605,000. Directed by Mr. Slowboy himself, it embodies a sleek style that resonates well with the modern traveler.

Both suitcases showcase an original design by Mr. Slowboy, which narrates the adventures of himself and his beloved dachshund mascot, Max, who embodies a playful spirit. The use of GLOBE-TROTTER's signature vulcan fiber, known for its lightweight nature and remarkable durability, makes this collaboration a must-have for travel enthusiasts.

Exhibition Details

The exhibition will feature around 50 pieces of artwork, including the original illustrations created for the suitcase designs and other works commemorating DAKS’ 130th anniversary. Mr. Slowboy will be in attendance on opening day, participating in a signing event and a special talk for suitcase purchasers. Also, there will be a silent auction featuring a one-of-a-kind handcrafted suitcase, personalized by Mr. Slowboy with a unique illustration exclusively for this event.
