Nurturing Wellness Through Community Sports
The Sumitomo Life Health Foundation (Chairman: Fujihide Sō) has been actively engaged in promoting community sports since the establishment of its 25th anniversary grant program in 2010. This effort aligns with their commitment to extending Japan’s healthy lifespan through the
CSV Project. In 2026, the foundation will continue this impact by supporting initiatives that encourage health promotion across society and contribute to overall well-being.
Community sports are defined as activities where people from diverse backgrounds can participate, enjoy, and connect through sports to achieve a healthier lifestyle. This program invites applications from community sports enthusiasts nationwide, emphasizing the significance of fostering healthy living practices.
