Voltage Energy Group Unveils Innovative Cable Systems at RE+ 2025 in Las Vegas
In a significant development at the
RE+ 2025 expo held in Las Vegas,
Voltage Energy Group has launched its state-of-the-art pre-assembled cable system,
IBEX PLUS, alongside the new
LYNX design. These advanced plug-and-play solutions are set to address critical capacity gaps and simplify installations while ensuring long-term reliability for large-capacity solar projects.
Addressing Market Gaps with IBEX PLUS
The IBEX PLUS cable system tackles longstanding challenges within medium-capacity project markets, offering designers a universal, reliable solution. Its unique design incorporates up to
97% flexible aluminum cables, resulting in a weight reduction of up to
41% compared to conventional copper wiring, and further reducing investment costs by up to
27%. Additionally, IBEX PLUS supports
2000V architectures, ensuring full compatibility with the latest solar technologies. With its hybrid copper and aluminum interfaces, this system not only provides unmatched design flexibility but also optimizes material and logistical requirements.
Introducing the Next Generation with LYNX
The new LYNX design is tailored for high-current applications, providing up to
1250 MCM (791 A) capacity. This new system boasts a
34% reduction in voltage drop compared to traditional 500 MCM designs, enabling longer runs and optimizing layouts. Specifically engineered for
2000V architectures, the LYNX allows for the creation of extended chains, simplifies installation, minimizes failure points, and enhances operational efficiency and maintenance convenience.
Both IBEX PLUS and LYNX have been developed in accordance with the
UL9703 standard, enhancing their credibility in the market.
Bob, the Chief Technology Officer of Voltage Energy, expressed pride in the introduction of these products at
RE+ 2025, stating, “These solutions represent a blend of value-oriented, progressive design with high reliability, assisting our customers in creating smarter, more resilient solar systems.”
