Meijer, the renowned family-owned grocery and retail chain, is set to expand its footprint in Northeast Ohio with the grand opening of three new supercenters on May 8. This exciting development not only showcases Meijer's commitment to community engagement but also enhances its store count in Ohio to a total of 58 locations.

The three newly constructed supercenters, covering a vast area of 159,000 square feet each, will be situated in Austintown, Medina, and Richmond Heights. These locations are strategically chosen to serve the growing population and diverse needs of the local community. Each supercenter will provide a comprehensive shopping experience, featuring an array of fresh produce, pantry staples, and household goods that Meijer customers have come to expect.

Store Features and Offerings



At these new supercenters, shoppers will find a vast assortment of products designed to cater to their everyday needs. Highlighted sections will include:

  • - Deli departments
  • - A dedicated floral area
  • - A garden center
  • - Apparel and home goods

Additionally, the supercenters will house a full-service pharmacy, a well-equipped health and beauty care section, as well as expanded departments for pets, electronics, toys, and sporting goods. Expect updates regarding specific offerings and promotions as the grand opening date approaches.
