Discover the Flavors of Sanriku-Tokawa at Seven-Eleven's Seafood Fair

Introduction to the Fair

From March 3, 2026, Seven-Eleven Japan will launch the 'Sanriku-Tokawa Seafood Fair,' featuring seven original products made with the freshest seafood from the Sanriku-Tokawa region. This initiative is part of the 'Gohii-ki! Sanriku-Tokawa Campaign' led by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan. The fair will be available at 2,135 Seven-Eleven locations across six prefectures in Tohoku and Ibaraki.

Exclusive Seafood Offerings

Among the seven products, one standout item is the 'Ocean Flavor Hama Ramen,' which will be available across all Seven-Eleven locations nationwide. This noodle dish is particularly designed to celebrate the rich marine resources of the Sanriku region.

The Sanriku-Tokawa region is renowned for its high-quality seafood, including wakame seaweed, sea cucumbers, and fish caught along its pristine coast. Seven-Eleven has a longstanding commitment to promoting local cuisine by incorporating regional ingredients into their menu. Over the years, they have successfully launched various original products using excellent seafood from the Sanriku-Tokawa area.

A Meaningful Undertaking

This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake, making the 'Sanriku-Tokawa Seafood Fair' an essential part of efforts to raise awareness about the region's unique offerings. The campaign not only celebrates marine delicacies but also aims to foster economic recovery and support local producers.
