Hollyland Unveils the Game-Changing Cosmo C2 for Multi-Camera Streaming

Hollyland Introduces Cosmo C2: Revolutionizing Multi-Camera Streaming

On February 13, 2025, Hollyland, a leading provider of professional wireless intercom solutions, officially launched the Cosmo C2, a groundbreaking device designed specifically for multi-camera live streaming and Electronic Field Production (EFP). This innovative solution addresses long-standing challenges in broadcasting and streaming, which have been highlighted through extensive market research.

Key Features and Innovations

One of the standout features of the Cosmo C2 is its unique configuration, which includes 2 Transmitters (TX) and 1 Receiver (RX). This setup effectively resolves common issues associated with traditional configurations of 1TX and 1RX, such as excess cabling, spatial constraints, and synchronization delays between camera feeds. With the ability for two transmitters to simultaneously send video signals to a single receiver, users can enjoy simplified setups and improved synchronization across multiple camera angles.

The Cosmo C2 offers an impressive wireless transmission range and ultra-low latency, making it an ideal choice for high-quality live event broadcasting. It boasts a line-of-sight transmission distance of up to 1,000 meters (3,000 feet) and a back-to-back distance of 300 meters (over 980 feet), effectively mitigating issues related to limited transmission distances and image stuttering during viewing. The device achieves a latency of just 33ms, a significant improvement over the usual 60ms reference that can cause noticeable screen misalignments during live events on LED displays, ensuring flawless synchronization for both displays and onsite feeds.

Proprietary Technology

Hollyland's proprietary HEVO2.0 technology embedded in the Cosmo C2 addresses prevalent problems encountered in live streaming, such as screen glitches or lag caused by environmental interference. This technology can automatically detect nearby frequency interferences and smoothly switch to a clear channel, ensuring uninterrupted transmission and an immersive viewing experience. Furthermore, the RX unit enhances visual fluidity by converting low frame rate inputs to 60P using a new frame rate compensation algorithm. Unique to this device is the ability to maintain the last frame during unexpected signal loss, eliminating the annoyance of manufacturer logos appearing during live commercial streams.

Streamlined Workflows

The Cosmo C2 simplifies traditionally complex workflows by providing plug-and-play compatibility for NDI, UVC, and RTMP outputs. With NDI support integrated directly into the receiver, users can effortlessly stream video across local networks without requiring additional converters. The UVC streaming capability via the Type-C port with a USB-C to USB-C cable removes the need for a capture card, while the RTMP functionality allows direct cloud streaming, negating reliance on external devices for real-time broadcasts.

Catering to the diverse needs of video professionals, the Cosmo C2 supports both HDMI and SDI connections for fractional frame rate signals, providing unparalleled compatibility. The system includes comprehensive input/output ports with HDMI input, SDI input, and SDI loop output on the transmitter, along with multiple HDMI and SDI outputs on the receiver.

Reliable Power Options

Reliability is further enhanced with flexible power options. The transmitter supports both DC power and NP-F batteries, while the receiver accommodates DC power and V-Mount batteries, ensuring continuous operation in various shooting environments.

Launched on February 13, 2025, the Cosmo C2 is now available through local distributors and Hollyland's Amazon store. The pricing is as follows:
  • - Cosmo C2 2TX & 1RX: $1,299
  • - Cosmo C2 1TX & 1RX: $999
  • - Cosmo C2 TX: $399
