About Kiyignon
Founded in
2004 in Kokubunji City, Tokyo,
Kiyignon Co., Ltd. has built a reputation based on a commitment to quality ingredients and handmade baked goods. Known for their gentle flavors that make them ideal for daily enjoyment, Kiyignon operates several direct stores and cafes across the Tokyo metropolitan area. The Yokohama Eda store marks a significant new venture as it focuses exclusively on scones.
Three Noteworthy Firsts
1.
First Scone Specialty Store: As Kiyignon's first store dedicated solely to scones, this location will feature the brand’s flagship product, ensuring customers enjoy only the best. Uniquely, Kiyignon replaces traditional butter with
luxurious fresh cream made from Hokkaido milk, achieving a moist texture paired with a rich flavor. This innovative recipe includes
approximately 50% cream, showcasing the secret to Kiyignon's “moist and delicious scone” philosophy.
2.
First Franchise Location: This store will also serve as the inaugural franchise for Kiyignon’s scone concept, paving the way for future expansions across the nation.
3.
First Store in Kanagawa: Previously, Kiyignon focused its operations on the Tokyo area with eight locations, primarily along the Chuo Line. However, past success at Shibuya Hikarie allowed Kiyignon to build a strong reputation among Tokyu Line patrons, leading them to open this new store near Eda Station.
