Steven Zhou, President of Intelligent PV and Energy Storage Products at Huawei Digital Power, discussed the strategic objective of integrating the "4T" technology: bit, watt, heat, and battery. This aims to create an efficient energy infrastructure essential for modern power systems. Zhou emphasized three key value propositions: building adaptable energy networks, ensuring secure connections between solar cells and the grid, and providing an all-in-one solution to accelerate the development of renewable energy systems.

Offered features include cost-effectiveness throughout the lifecycle and full digitization of all connections, aiming for maximum efficiency.
One notable application of this advanced ESS solution is the 1.3 GWh energy storage project in a luxury resort on the Red Sea, which successfully powers the facility using 100% renewable energy. This project highlights the proficiency of Huawei’s technology, having already delivered over 1 billion kWh of green electricity, proving its stability over an 18-month operation period.
Similarly, a photovoltaic project in Ngari, China, utilizes a Smart PV+ESS solution that allows it to adapt to high-altitude challenges, confirming Huawei's dedication to making renewable energy feasible in various environments. The solar installation's capacity can significantly increase, showcasing its adaptability and efficiency.
Setting New Standards in Energy Management
Huawei’s innovative approach doesn't stop at just storage solutions. With the introduction of the new energy management system 6.0 for home use, the company aims to set new benchmarks in household energy usage and production. This system includes the LUNA S1-7kWh energy storage module, which promises 15 years of industry-leading warranty, enhanced energy utility, and the capacity for on-demand scalability.
