October 2024, the gallery aims to create a vibrant social space that reflects the essence of street life in New York, where art and music coexist seamlessly. About The Exhibition
Titled
‘PRINCIPAL: A New Story Told in Color’, this exhibition will not only showcase Theodore's new collection but will also feature some of his most acclaimed works that have garnered attention worldwide. Among them are notable pieces like
‘Symphony of Beethoven’ (2018),
‘The Connection’ (2024), and
‘Marie’s Horse’ (2024). Each artwork is a testament to Bradley's innovative approach, where he blends contemporary themes with rich cultural narratives.
Artist Profile: Bradley Theodore
Born in the
Turks and Caicos Islands and based in
New York, Bradley Theodore's artistic journey is remarkable. In
2016, he was appointed the official artist for the
US Open, where he created impactful murals that captivated audiences. That same year, his life was captured in the documentary film,
‘Becoming: Bradley Theodore’, which premiered at the prestigious
Tribeca Film Festival.
By
2017, Theodore embraced the digital realm by participating in Google's
Artist in Residence program, where he explored three-dimensional art using
Tilt Brush technology. His creativity surged through collaborations with global brands such as
PUMA, where he designed a special edition sneaker to commemorate the
50th anniversary of the PUMA Suede. In
2020, he showcased his versatility as the official artist for the
LEGO Dots campaign and collaborated with names like
David Beckham and
HAIG whisky.
Recently, Theodore has worked on exciting projects with various organizations including
Waldorf Astoria and
Snapple, showcasing the intersection of art and culture via innovative mediums.
