Canon Marketing Japan to Participate in Page2026

Canon Marketing Japan, led by CEO Masachika Adachi, is set to unveil its latest inkjet printing technologies at the upcoming Page2026 event, scheduled from February 18 to 20, 2026, at Ikebukuro Sunshine City Convention Center. Under the theme "Transforming the Printing Business - The Future Led by Inkjet Technology," Canon will present its cutting-edge products aimed at enhancing operational efficiency in commercial printing.

As the 39th installment of this comprehensive printing media business event, Page2026 promises to be a significant gathering for industry professionals. Canon will showcase upcoming products, including the new varioPRINT iX1700 and LabelStream LS2000, which are expected to launch in 2026, alongside the latest models of large-format inkjet printers and various software solutions designed to maximize operational performance.

Exhibits Overview

1. Supporting Business Expansion through Inkjet Technology
The entry-level varioPRINT iX1700, designed for sheet-fed color inkjet printing, boasts a remarkable production speed of up to 170 pages per minute in A4 format, delivering both high productivity and a wide color gamut. This printer is designed to maintain consistent quality and high operational efficiency, even for short run, multi-job orders. Additionally, the LabelStream LS2000, which features water-based inkjet technology, can print at a width of 340mm and achieve a maximum speed of 40m per minute, ensuring high-quality output samples will be displayed.

2. Promoting Automation and Streamlining Printing Operations
Visitors will have the opportunity to see various inline options attached to the imagePRESS V1000, a commercial color production printer. Features such as inspection devices, automatic adjustment units, and static eliminators will be demonstrated to showcase how they contribute to reducing operational costs while maintaining stable print quality. Canon will also provide real-world case studies from customers to highlight the effectiveness of these solutions.

3. Facilitating Small-Batch, Diverse Production of Posters
The demand for small-batch and diverse poster printing, particularly for limited-time products and promotional campaigns featuring numerous characters, is on the rise. In this context, the Colorado series will be highlighted for its ability to efficiently meet the need for quick turnaround times, combining high productivity with consistent quality. Canon will demonstrate solutions that enhance productivity and improve the throughput from data submission to delivery.
