Oceans Healthcare Expands Reach with Acquisition of Haven Behavioral Healthcare

Oceans Healthcare has recently announced an important step in enhancing its behavioral health services by acquiring Haven Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. This transaction marks a significant milestone for Oceans, expanding its network to a total of 48 facilities across nine states. The acquisition brings Oceans Healthcare's services into five new states, adding seven behavioral health hospitals and additional outpatient services located in Arizona, Idaho, Ohio, New Mexico, and Pennsylvania.

Stuart Archer, CEO of Oceans Healthcare, emphasized the synergy between the two organizations, noting their nearly 40-year legacy of delivering exemplary care to patients. This combined effort is intended to help both companies accomplish their goals more efficiently than could be achieved independently. He stated, "Oceans has consistently sought opportunities that would expand our ability to provide access to care for at-risk populations in underserved communities. Haven has had a similar mission, and we are honored to welcome them to our Oceans family."

In the past 18 months, Oceans Healthcare has actively worked on expanding its services by launching new facilities and extending existing services in nine markets, particularly focusing on intensive outpatient programs. Since 2014, the organization has enjoyed steady growth, attributed to strategic partnerships with academic medical centers and the development of new facilities.

With the incorporation of Haven, Oceans Healthcare now supports a workforce of approximately 4,000 employees dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare. Kelly Gill, CEO of Haven Behavioral Healthcare, also emphasized the alignment between their organizations, noting, "Our health systems have always shared similarities in services, markets, populations served, and – most importantly – in mission."

By acquiring Haven, Oceans Healthcare aims to increase access to essential services in communities where Haven operates.
