What is MiCBT?
MiCBT is a therapeutic approach originating from Australia, combining mindfulness training with the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Instead of forcing changes to thoughts and emotions, the method emphasizes recognizing and objectively observing them as they are. This nurturing of awareness enhances individuals' abilities to cope with stress and has proven effective across various mental health symptoms, age groups, cultural backgrounds, and co-morbid conditions. Currently, it is gaining international recognition due to its solid evidence base.
