Exciting Designer Event Celebrating the Launch of NS by NOUSAKU's Playing Cards Collection

Celebrate the Launch of NS by NOUSAKU's Newest Collection

On July 19th, 2026, NS by NOUSAKU will host a unique event at Tokyo Midtown to celebrate the release of its latest collection, "Playing Cards." This occasion will feature renowned designer and contemporary artist Kei Takemura, who is known for his artistic approach to modern jewelry design.

The event will take place at the NOUSAKU / NS by NOUSAKU store located on the 3rd floor of the Galleria in Tokyo Midtown, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from Takemura about the inspiration and creative process behind the new collection. The event promises an insightful exchange, allowing guests to connect with the designer and experience the collection's allure firsthand.

To commemorate the launch, an exclusive novelty fair will open on the same day. The first 30 customers spending over 22,000 JPY will receive a special original pouch, making it a fantastic opportunity for jewelry enthusiasts.

About the "Playing Cards" Collection

The third installment in the NS by NOUSAKU collection features charms designed to be combined freely, inspired by the visually rich world of playing cards. This playful selection includes over 40 unique charms representing numbers, suits, and face cards that can be mixed and matched with base jewelry pieces like necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and ear cuffs.

In creating this collection, Takemura expertly combines traditional craftsmanship with modern design, using a unique material known as "Tin Gold." This innovative fusion of tin and gold offers a lightweight, flexible feel that molds comfortably to the skin, providing wearers with a smooth, pleasant sensation throughout the day.

Designer Kei Takemura has a compelling background, having trained at the Tokyo University of the Arts and the Berlin University of the Arts. His artistic vision often explores themes of memory, connection, and time through intricate embroidery and design. He aims to create jewelry that reveals individual stories and connections with each wear.

The Creative Process

"Playing Cards" embodies the joy of customization and personal expression. The charms allow wearers to curate their jewelry as they would collect cards, weaving together stories through their choices. The smooth texture of the tin complements the embroidered elements, resulting in distinct designs that radiate personality and playfulness.

Each piece of jewelry in this latest collection is not only a fashion statement but also an artistic expression, echoing Kei Takemura's creative philosophy. The work resonates with anyone who appreciates the blending of history, culture, and contemporary design in jewelry.
