Huawei officially rebranded its ESS solutions from LUNA to LUTERRA™, reflecting its commitment to advanced energy management and integration capabilities. LUTERRA™ supports an impressive AC voltage rating of 1,000 V and boasts a solar panel capacity of 12.5 MW/50 MWh, setting new benchmarks within the industry.

During the event, Steven Zhou, President of the Smart PV ESS Product Line at Huawei Digital Power, discussed the future of photovoltaic systems and energy storage, highlighting a need for these systems to evolve into crucial assets that facilitate robust network operations. 1. Smart String Architecture: Utilizing a pioneering smart string architecture at 1,000 V AC ensures enhanced battery consistency and improved energy conversion efficiency through the latest silicon carbide (SiC) modules.

2. Innovative Busbar Design: This architecture simplifies installation, increases capacity expansion capabilities, and facilitates cable connections, resulting in faster commissioning times and efficient land space utilization.

3. Smart Distributed Cooling System: With a 100% increase in thermal dissipation area and a reduction in fan speed by approximately 40%, this system significantly lowers operational noise levels.

4. Grid-Forming Technology: This cutting-edge technology enables synchronous network formation across millions of devices, ensuring adaptability to grid power fluctuations, thereby enhancing system resilience.
