The upcoming ADIPEC 2026 Technical Conferences, hosted by ADNOC in Abu Dhabi, are positioned to make waves in the energy sector with an astounding 7,261 paper submissions from professionals and researchers around the globe. This remarkable number showcases the increasing urgency within the sector to address rising energy demands and security pressures, as well as the rapid pace of technological advancements.

Growing Demand for Innovation


The submissions have increased by nearly 196 compared to the previous year’s conferences, indicating a strong commitment from industry experts to innovate and enhance energy systems across the entire value chain. The mix of submissions highlights a deliberate focus on creating smarter, more resilient, and efficient energy systems at a time when global energy challenges have never been more pressing.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a focal point of this transformation effort. Notably, the AI and Digital Transformation category alone accounted for 1,296 submissions, marking an 11.6% increase compared to the previous year. This significant growth demonstrates the energy sector's dedication to optimizing operations through automation, decision-support applications, and novel technologies, thereby reshaping its efficiency and service delivery methods.
