Power Metallic Mines Reports Major Discoveries from Their Latest Drilling Campaign at the Lion and Nisk Zones

Power Metallic Mines Inc. Unveils Promising Drill Results

Power Metallic Mines Inc. has recently released exciting findings from their winter 2025 drilling campaign focusing on the Lion Zone and Nisk East areas. The results, which encompass the final 11 holes drilled, show significant mineralization that enhances the company's confidence in the project.

Lion Zone Highlights

The Lion Zone drilling campaign included nine holes that were strategically positioned to target several key areas. Among these was hole PML-25-012a, which intercepted a remarkable 12.54 meters of polymetallic mineralization grading 10.99% copper equivalent (CuEq). This included impressive metrics of 3.10 g/t gold (Au), 25.52 g/t silver (Ag), 4.09% copper (Cu), 12.06 g/t palladium (Pd), and 2.00 g/t platinum (Pt). These findings suggest a promising shift towards the west for high-grade mineralization, prompting plans for further exploration as the team gears up for a drilling campaign starting this June.

CEO Terry Lynch expressed enthusiasm about the campaign, stating, "The findings were worth the wait, and our team looks forward to seeing how interconnected these mineralized areas could be!" In addition, holes PML-25-005 and 012a confirmed substantial deposits extending the known zones, while other holes like PML-25-013 provided data that filled in gaps regarding mineral density in the Lion area, revealing low-grade hanging-wall mineralization yet without significant breakthroughs in some shallow drill tests.

Nisk East Observations

The two holes drilled in the Nisk East area targeted regions east of the main Nisk Deposit. While one hole (PMN-25-003) returned inconclusive results, PMN-25-004 did intersect promising mineralization echoing the style of the Lion zone, grading 1.22% CuEq over 11.25 meters. This discovery is pivotal as it supports the potential for hybrid mineralization between the Lion and Nisk zones, pointing to multiple exploration avenues.

Future Drill Campaign Plans

Power Metallic's forthcoming drills are set to initiate at the start of June 2025. The company is also expanding their core laboratory facilities to accommodate up to six drills simultaneously. The strategy will include a mixed approach of overland and helicopter-supported drilling to further evaluate the Lion and Nisk zones and to explore potential extensions along the active Tiger trend. This expansion represents the largest exploration effort in the company's history, aimed at significantly increasing resource availability.

Conclusion

As the summer unfolds, Power Metallic Mines Inc. is poised for an action-packed season of exploration. With new drill data corroborating the potential high-grade deposits in both the Lion Zone and the Nisk East areas, the company moves forward with optimism. The forthcoming drilling results are eagerly anticipated by stakeholders and investors alike, as they hold the promise not just for the current operations but also for the broader geological prospects of the region.

Power Metallic is determined to establish itself as a leader in the Canadian polymetallic mining sector, with a keen focus on enriching its mining prospects through diligent exploration and strategic planning.
