Collaboration Event Overview

Sega is thrilled to announce a new collaboration between its popular online Mahjong game, Sega NET Mahjong MJ, and the beloved TV anime series, Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World. The event, called 'Re:Zero Starting Life in Another World CUP,' kicks off on December 29, 2025, and is set to bring a plethora of exciting features and rewards inspired by the anime.

Event Details

This nationwide tournament will be held on both the app and arcade versions of MJ. Players can compete in two categories: the East Wind Match and a three-player format. To qualify for the finals, players need to accumulate enough points during the preliminary rounds. The player with the highest score during the finals will be crowned the champion.

Players who participate in the app version of MJ can earn a variety of exclusive Re:Zero-themed rewards such as special winning buttons, stylish table backgrounds, and more by fulfilling certain conditions during the event.
