Empowering Youth to Tackle Consumer Issues: A New CM Campaign

In a notable initiative aimed at engaging the youth of Tokyo, the 'STOP! Youth Consumer Problems CM Scenario and Video Contest' has successfully produced its first set of commercials. Targeting young individuals between middle school age and 29 years old, this contest encourages them to reflect on consumer issues and protects them against potential scams. This year alone, the contest received an impressive 7,295 submissions from 4,621 participants, highlighting the growing concern about consumer protection among the young demographic.

The contest, organized by Tokyo's Consumer Affairs Division, resulted in the identification of 15 outstanding works, including 3 exceptional award-winning scripts that have been adapted into television commercials. These commercials are designed to educate and inform young people about consumer issues, aiming to prevent them from falling victim to scams and deceptive business practices.
