JGBA Showcases Growth and Future Strategies at Reform Industry Fair 2026

JGBA's Significant Participation in the Reform Industry Fair 2026

On July 29 and 30, 2026, the Japan Good Builders Association (JGBA), led by Ryo Tajima, participated in the highly anticipated "Reform Industry Fair 2026" held at Tokyo Big Sight. This event served as a platform for JGBA to highlight its contributions to the construction and renovation industries through their extensive network of over 460 member companies.

At the JGBA booth, attendees had the opportunity to learn about the various initiatives the association conducts throughout the year, including seminars, site visits, and study sessions aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of its members. Numerous representatives from construction firms, renovation companies, and other housing-related businesses visited the booth, leading to a vibrant exchange of information and the formation of new connections. Many expressed interest in expanding collaborations, learning about the latest industry trends, and engaging with top firms across Japan, underscoring the significance of JGBA's role in the housing sector.

On July 30, Ryo Tajima delivered a compelling lecture delving into the rapid growth of JGBA's national network and the reasons behind the successful outcomes achieved by its member companies. He also discussed the strategic approaches necessary for future sustainability in the housing industry, attracting a significant audience eager to gain insights into effective management practices. Additionally, a panel discussion allowed five young leaders from the housing sector, including Koji Maruo from Maruo Construction and Takuma Shirato from LIFEFUND, to exchange ideas on the industry's future.

During the panel, important topics were addressed, including the challenges faced by the housing market and the steps taken to overcome them. Their discussions highlighted their ambitious growth targets, such as achieving a yearly revenue of 10 billion yen and the need for a structural shift within the industry. This proactive and goal-driven mentality resonated well with attendees, marking the symposium's conclusion on a high note.

The fair presented not only an opportunity to meet potential new member companies but also served as a vital forum for sharing industry challenges and needs among housing businesses. JGBA remains committed to fostering an environment where construction firms and housing companies can learn and grow together, ultimately contributing to the overall development of the housing industry in Japan.
