Shibuya District to Showcase Talents at SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026
Shibuya District, led by Mayor Ken Hasebe, is gearing up for a major presence at
SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026, a prestigious global innovation conference taking place from April 27th to 29th, 2026. This event is not just a showcase but a melting pot for various stakeholders including startups, investors, corporations, universities, and local governments.
As part of the
Shibuya Startup Support initiative, the district will feature
nine startups actively supported by the government, presenting a variety of cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions over the course of the event. Hacks, solutions, and networking opportunities abound at this year's dynamic exhibition.
### About SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026
Expected to draw approximately
750 startups from around the globe, SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026 aims to demonstrate technologies capable of transforming societal norms and enhancing everyday life. One unique feature of the Shibuya District’s participation is the
“All-Japan Ecosystem Area”, where attendees can consult about entrepreneurship and collaborative ventures that thrive in Shibuya.

### Partner Event: Hack the Future: Shibuya Networking Party
On April 28, Shibuya will also host the official partner event titled
“Hack the Future: Shibuya Networking Party”. It will feature discussions centered around
Internet Security in the AI Era, welcoming three prominent security startups to share their insights in a panel discussion and networking format.
The event welcomes cyber security professionals, investors, ecosystem builders, and officials from local governments. This year, attendees will have the chance to engage with some of the leading
cybersecurity startups:
- - CorgiAI: Protecting online payments with advanced fraud detection.
- - ECQ: Strengthening security of critical infrastructure from an attacker’s perspective (live demo available).
- - Persona: Global KYC platform for unicorn companies.
This engaging networking session will run from
6:30 PM to 8:30 PM on April 28, with the doors opening at 6:00 PM, at the
