Fuji TV is inviting viewers who are passionate about television to apply for their
External Monitor Program for 2026. Starting on November 14, you can share your valuable insights directly with the program makers. Your feedback is crucial for crafting better shows that resonate with audiences!
What is the External Monitor Program?
The program allows participants to watch selected Fuji TV programs and provide reports on their impressions and opinions. This feedback is vital in shaping the content of the network's shows.
Responsibilities of External Monitors
As a monitor, you will need to:

Watch and Report: View designated programs and submit a report via a web-based input form within three days after the broadcast.
2.
Attend Monthly Meetings: Participate in the monthly Monitor Meeting, held on the last Thursday of each month from 14:00 to 16:00 at Fuji TV headquarters in Odaiba, Tokyo. Online attendance is permitted when absolutely necessary, so ensure you have a reliable internet connection.
3.
Participate in Recorded Sessions: Some meetings may be recorded for Fuji TV's
Weekly Fuji TV Critique, which airs every Saturday. Your face may be shown, but your name will not be displayed.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, you must meet the following requirements:
- - Must be 18 years or older and reside in the Tokyo metropolitan area (high school students are not eligible).
- - Must be able to watch or record the specified Fuji TV programs.
- - Must attend the monthly Monitor Meetings as a rule.
- - Be capable of submitting reports online punctually.

Selection and Compensation
After an initial document screening, qualified candidates will be invited for an online final interview by January 23, 2026. Only those who pass this phase will be notified via email.
For your involvement, you will receive compensation of 3,000 yen for each report submitted (approximately three reports per month). Additionally, participants will be compensated 6,000 yen for attending physical meetings (including transportation costs) and 3,000 yen for online participation.
