His journey later led him to LINE Corporation, where he helped establish the Computer Vision Lab while contributing significantly to research activities centered on document image analysis. Presently at CyberAgent, Okamoto's work is focused on building strategic frameworks within AI research organizations, aiming to translate technology into valuable applications for society.

A sports enthusiast, Okamoto was influenced by his brother to start playing rugby in high school, an activity he still pursues. With a passion for his educational roots in Kyoto, he aspires to build an organization that embodies the allure of his college city.
